The CV Queen

The woman from LinkedIn died yesterday, the famous career advisor, the job seeker goddess, the CV queen, the employment guru.

The personality, the character emanated on every post, vanished with her fatal ending. It is exhilarating to read her final posts saying:

“However tough life feels, you have to find a reason to keep going. If you can´t do it for yourself, do it for those who love and depend on you.”

Just after knowing she killed herself.

And now, my duchess of Perfectcareerland lies inside our selected mass grave, she arrived earlier and is preparing the feast. The old saying relates the simplicity of words compared to actions, and it is so easy to be a Guru when life is a bull market, but when the chips are down, the demons wake up to remember us the irrelevance of our pathetic beings.

She had an existential problem too? In the middle of the pandemic?  Dear lord please tell me this is a joke, I thought I was unique, I hoped I was the creep.

Of course it was PTSD, what else could be? Since there is nothing meaningful to do with our lives (besides our strong aspirations of fame and influence), not even an enemy with some physiognomy whom to blame, the tragedy of existence gains power with giant steps.

But nothing matters at all, our CV Queen died, and now she´s giving advice in the afterlife about the perfect ways to commit suicide.
