Forgettable Moments

It wasn´t a good week… I mean it wasn’t a bad week either, it was what it was… The correct word to describe it would be forgettable. Just like every new live action Disney movie. I was never a big fan of that phony mouse, but last releases look like a waste of time.

Then I just think about how funny it is that most of our time is a forgettable moment. Last month, two weeks of the four and a half were memorable, but then, when I think about the 52 weeks that  compose a year, and how many times I have tried to acknowledge if it was a good year, a good  semester, a good quarter, a good month, a  good week, a good  day, a good  night, it feels hard  to believe that I will remember anything about them in the future.

My mind has a limited storage and my memories are in constant competition, and I don’t believe it is just me, I just heard Howard Stern telling how he constantly forgets things he has done, things that any average person would remember as the triumph of their lives.

And it is funny to think about the possibilities of memorable moments for different kinds of people, and how some can relate to my persona and some others just feel like the most boring statement.

When Gary won the Oscar.

That time Jenny got 1000 likes and 500 RTs with that thirsty tweet about Robert Pattinson.

When Michael won that 1998 final.

That time Brandy drank 3 pints of beer in 10 seconds.

Martin giving his speech in Washington

When Jose scored 3 goals in the Sunday league match against his ex-team.

Valentina watching earth from space.

When Keith met Miles.

When Kara held my hand.
